Aroota’s Neem Soap is inspired by Shudhi Snan—the Ayurvedic practice of ritual cleansing used to purify the body, calm inflammation, and restore energetic balance. Traditionally performed during times of transition, healing, or seasonal change, Shudhi Snan was meant to clear what no longer serves—physically and subtly.

We’ve reimagined this ancient detox ritual into a gentle, daily soap—suitable for face and body, and supportive of hormonally sensitive, acne-prone, or reactive skin.

Why Neem + Shudhi Snan

In Ayurveda, neem (Nimba) is considered one of the most powerful purifying botanicals. Known for its cooling, clarifying, and antimicrobial properties, neem helps balance all three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—making it truly tridoshic.

During Shudhi Snan, neem-infused washes were used to detoxify the skin, protect against environmental impurities, and restore clarity without disruption.

How to Use (Shudhi Snan Ritual)

Lather gently between palms. Massage onto damp skin with intention.
Rinse with warm water, allowing impurities—physical and energetic—to release.

Use daily as a face and body cleanser, or as an evening detox ritual to reset after the day.

This soap consists of a total of nine ingredients which itself reduce the “Carbon Footprint” of the product itself while provide a full transparency.
In addition, we intentionally exclude plants that are listed as endangered species. Moreover, this product is meticulously crafted without making any compromises in terms of quality. Our skincare formulations prioritize cruelty-free practices, non-GMO and organic ingredients whenever feasible, and the exclusion of silicones, colorants, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, PEGs, petrolatum, mineral oil, and nanoparticles.

Please note: A skin patch test is always recommended prior to use.

In the event that you do receive a damaged product due to shipping or weather, we will issue a full credit, refund or send you a replacement.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please email aroota@greenbeautyco.com with order number and an image of your order and we will get it shipped out!

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your email request with image, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
