Aroota’s Turmeric Soap is inspired by Swarna Snan—the sacred Ayurvedic practice of golden bathing, traditionally performed to purify the body, calm inflammation, and invite radiance from within. This ritual cleansing was once reserved for rites of renewal, fertility, and seasonal transitions. We’ve reimagined it for everyday use—gentle enough for the face, nourishing enough for the body.

Handcrafted in small batches, this soap brings together cow milk, ghee, turmeric, and plant oils to support hormonally sensitive, reactive, and tired skin.

Why Turmeric + Swarna Snan

In Ayurveda, turmeric (Haridra) is revered for its ability to cleanse the blood, balance excess heat (Pitta), and restore skin clarity—without stripping the skin’s natural oils. During Swarna Snan, turmeric-infused waters were used to soften the skin, enhance glow, and prepare the body for new beginnings.

Swarna Snan Ritual

Lather gently between hands. Massage onto damp skin in slow, circular motions.
Rinse with warm water and pause for a breath—allowing the warmth and aroma to settle.

Use daily on face and body, or as a weekly intentional cleansing ritual.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cow Milk, Ghee (Clarified Butter), Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Powder, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Essential Oils.

Our soap consists of a total of nine ingredients which itself reduce the “Carbon Footprint” of the product itself while provide a full transparency.

In addition, we intentionally exclude plants that are listed as endangered species. Moreover, this product is meticulously crafted without making any compromises in terms of quality. Our skincare formulations prioritize cruelty-free practices, non-GMO and organic ingredients whenever feasible, and the exclusion of silicones, colorants, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, PEGs, petrolatum, mineral oil, and nanoparticles.

Aroota by GBCO  does not accept returns.

In the event that you do receive a damaged product due to shipping or weather, we will issue a full credit, refund or send you a replacement.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please email aroota@greenbeautyco.com with order number and an image of your order and we will get it shipped out! 

Unfortunately, all sale items are final sale.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your email request with image, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
