A letter to my four years old..... Neev
Dear Neev (aka my Sweet, Strong-Willed Boy)......
From the moment you came into my life, I knew you were different. There was something in the way you locked eyes with me as if you already had the world figured out. At just four years old, you are fearless in ways I only wish I could be—boldly climbing, questioning, challenging, and paving your own way with a confidence that leaves me in awe.
You are sharp, witty, and impossibly clever. You negotiate bedtime like a seasoned lawyer, outsmarting me with a grin that makes it impossible to say no. You ask questions that stop me in my tracks, ones that remind me just how much magic exists in the everyday. And while you are endlessly charming, it’s your unwavering determination that truly defines you. You know what you want, and you won’t settle for anything less—whether it’s the biggest piece of cake or a rule that just doesn’t make sense to you.
There are days when your strong will tests every ounce of patience I have, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Because that same fierce spirit that refuses to back down now will be the one that carves out a life for you that is bold, beautiful, and uniquely yours. You don’t follow paths—you create them. And I have no doubt you’ll leave a trail of inspiration wherever you go.
I hope you never lose your fire. I hope you always question, always push, always dream bigger than what’s expected of you. But more than anything, I hope you always know that no matter where life takes you, I will be here—your biggest cheerleader, your soft place to land, your forever home.
You, my love, are unstoppable. And I cannot wait to watch the story you write. I love you.....
With all my heart,
Mom!
